What is gator foam?

Gatorfoam is a lightweight, rigid display board with a polystyrene core and white surface. The core is very dense and firm and the surface is a wood fiber veneer laminate impregnated with resin for water resistance. Gatorfoam cuts cleanly with a knife, saw, or router.

Is Gator board the same as foam board?

Gator Board is much stronger than regular foam board, but is about the same weight. Gator Board has a very rigid poly surface which is resistant to moisture, unlike foam board which is foam covered with lightweight paper stock. Gator Board is available in white or black

What is Gator board mounting?

Considered sturdier and longer lasting than the popularly used foamcore, gatorboard mounting involves using a polystyrene foam board which is bonded on. both sides for a uniform appearance and to make it resistant to moisture. It is ideal for large-sized prints as it is lightweight.

The inner layer of coroplast is made up of a series of ridges and furrows, which help to strengthen and reinforce it.
